Two major global milestones await us in the months ahead. The UN World Population Prospects report tells us that our world’s population will cross 8 billion people on November 15, 2022. It states that India will soon be the world’s most populous country—as early as 2023. This population growth will trigger the growth for more housing, food and water needs. For this reason, we at Ecopreneur India take our mission of Green Recovery very seriously, as it is the need of our time.
At Ecopreneur India, we are driven by our unique | stories |services | solutions | approach. Since our inception in January 2020, we have committed ourselves to building this vibrant media platform working on a mission to nurture the ecopreneurship ecosystem by seeding and harvesting green innovation in India and across the world. At the turn of this decade, we at Ecopreneur India joined the world in addressing the new global challenges of our time: COVID-19, Climate Change and Conflict. So, who is an ‘Ecopreneur’? An Ecopreneur is a person who invests in interventions, innovations and incorporations that reconnects our people with nature. We believe that the collective actions of people, policies and community action are the driving force to achieve greater climate goals. We are creating a community and knowledge-base for ecopreneurs to learn and thrive everywhere. The bio-commitment that runs across all of them is the same: They reconnect us with Nature.
Across India, ecopreneurs are rolling out initiatives to protect and sustain nature to achieve various climate goals. They are stepping into the limelight as they are working to collective actions that are bringing about qualitative outcomes that are leading to the groundswell of Green Recovery.
